Today was our first, but definitely not our last, lunch at Destination India. The restaurant is clean, and the service... was extremely welcoming! Our server was not only friendly and pleasant but offered whatever assistance we needed with the menu and even explained that the menu was not all inclusive so if a diner requests something that isn't specifically on the menu, they will gladly prepare it, if possible.The food is delicious, came to the table hot, and the serving sizes are generous. The nan was fresh and baked just right! Since I don't eat meat, I was particularly delighted with the vegetarian options and there were several dishes that my husband was interested in trying. We both enjoyed our selections and plan to return to continue trying other dishes in the future.I highly recommend Destination India!read more

Finally stopped in to try this Indian restaurant near my home. Glad I did! The food was delicious. They even made a... lamb biryani dish for me that was not on the menu. The food was fresh, large portions and the owner/chef came out to chat and make sure all was to my liking. His bartender was also sweet and made a nice cocktail. I'll be back for sure.read more

We get our craving for Indian once a month or so and since destination India delivers it's an easy choice. Not only is... that super convenient, it's the hands down best Indian cuisine in the whole area, Manchester included. I just wish they had more Saag choices. This is the best Indian food you’ll find in the area! Were British and moved here 10 years ago. We miss nothing more... than good Indian food (Englands #1 take out and eat out food!)Thankfully someone recommended this place after we’d tried a few others in New Hampshire, and it’s so pleasing to report the food is phenomenal, the service is great, good selection of drinks and above all the place is clean and welcoming unlike many run down Indian restaurants!Keep up the great work guys, will see you soon.read more

I am not well-versed in Indian Food or culture, and I was nervous to try Indian food for the first time. I move to... Derry in March 2021 and learn of an Indian restaurant within walking distance of my house.After work one day where my coworkers were discussing Indian food, I decide to stop in for dinner on a whim, and absolutely loved it! I was open with the staff and admitted I didn't know what I was doing and if they could guide me through the menu. Without hesitation, the waitress/hostess and bartender were eager to help me! I felt an overwhelming sense of pride for the food , which gave me comfort and that's when I knew I'd like this place.Now it is one of my favorite places to grab a delicious top-tier meal, packed with delicious flavors that I never knew existed. Without question, my favorite items they offer are the Malai Kabab cooked in their Tandoori oven, cheese naan bread, mango kulfi, and Gulab Jamun (pictured). If you want some consistently amazing and flavorful Indian food, or want to try it for the first time but are nervous, you need to go to Destination India!read more

Best Indian restaurant I have tried in a long time. Being Indian and a cooking enthusiast, I often get disappointed... when eating at Indian restaurants. This one was an exception. The food is very delicious. Lamb saag is my favorite. The staff is very courteous and the Chef came out to talk to us. They will also make anything that is not on the menu, if you tell them in advance. Very happy support this restaurant.read more

I tried this place when it first opened and wasn't a fan, but ended up eating there a few more times and now it's one... of my favorite Indian spots. I dined here last night, accompanied by my mother and a few other family members. The atmosphere was beautiful and... eye-catching, the amber string lights that glow in the front windows set the mood perfectly. The staff were more than pleasant- extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel oh so welcomed. When it came time to eat, the food was presented quickly and tasted astounding! I've had Indian food many a time, but this was next level. The perfect amount and just spicy enough. We ordered take out and it was the best experience. From the super sweet guy on the phone helping me correct my... butchered pronunciation to the fabulous food. Which hot had people sweating in a good way and made us wonder about Indian spicy? I had wished the online order had a pay in person option but speaking to the restaurant to place the order did not make me hate that it wasn't there in the end. Again amazing food. I came up from DC to visit family and had to make sure I stopped at Destination India after I'd heard so many rave... reviews about it. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is good, and the atmosphere comfortable. Admittedly, I've had Indian food in the DC area that I found slightly better, but love that folks in Derry now have easy access to really solid Indian food. We ordered our lunch medium spicy, which I felt was a fair description of what we got (as an avid hot food lover -- pass me some of that Last Dab!). The flavors were great, and I'd definitely recommend DI for anyone looking to introduce themselves to Indian cuisine. Looks like they had a great bar selection, too!read more

Tried this place for the first time a month ago and have been back 3 times already! Caring and attentive staff, warm... and inviting. The food is absolutely delicious, best curry I’ve had in a long time. Love the naan bread options. They also adjust each dish based on personal preference, you can have a mild, medium or very spicy meal pending on your mood and taste buds. If you haven’t been here it’s a must add to your list! We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with this brand new restaurant in Derry, NH! We started with Door Dash... delivery and we were not sure what to expect....but, it was ALL so good! We have since ordered online twice more for ourselves and picked up at the restaurant....and I have also ordered for friends who had just returned from a year in the Middle East and had Door Dash deliver to them! They loved their meals as well! The owners are so wonderfully friendly and attentive to the customers needs as well! All their ingredients are fresh! Never canned or frozen! Highly recommend! Ps. We like ours on the mild side....and our Indian friends like theirs “Indian Spicy” we were ALL pleased with our “spice levels”!read more

Very happy with this restaurant, friendly staff and great food, BUT I have one suggestion for improvement: My husband... ordered the Tandoori Lamb, the pieces were different sizes. The smaller ones were dry and tough (overcooked) while the larger ones were tender. An easy way to fix this is to use the same size pieces for each order (large or small), so that the cooking time is the same and none are burnt. Will be back.read more

What a treat to have this wonderful new restaurant in nearby Derry, NH! My wife and I dined here for the first time... last night and we will definitely be back. I think it may be my new favorite restaurant, period. From the “cauliflower 65” appetizer to the coconut shrimp curry to the tandoori chicken to the cheese naan, everything was delicious and prepared to perfection. And the service from beginning to end was simply outstanding. I can’t recommend Destination India highly enough! Well done!read more

My brother and I went to Destination India this evening. Great selection on the menu, beautiful atmosphere, and the... most polite staff. When I mentioned that the mild house spice had a little bite to it, our waiter brought me one of their smoothies to ease my palette. And, OMG, it was like magic, the smoothie took the spice away instantly. It was so great!! We definitely will be returning and recommending it to our friends and family. 🙂read more

I have ordered delivery three times before but this was the first time I got to eat at the restaurant. The food there... is absolutely amazing. For many years I have had to travel to Boston to find great Indian food now it’s just down the street? Personally I like my food spicy and they make it just the way I like but if that is not your thing they will make it milder and the flavor will still be the same. Give it a try, you will love it.read more
